The Job Center welcomes anyone who is interested in rejoining the workforce or who is actively seeking employment. Our goal is to assist clients in the identification of their strongest skills and abilities as they seek new opportunities. The development of their resume serves as the cornerstone in the method used to present themselves to potential employers. We assist each individual in developing an approach to the interview process by having them tell their story in a clear and concise manner. We coach each applicant so they portray a positive picture of the contributions they can make to the businesses where they make application.

The Job Center is open Wednesdays from 10 am – 1 pm for both resume building and budget counseling and Thursdays from 10 am – 4 pm for resume development. Call the CRC at 302-227-1340 ext. 1 to make an appointment for either a job search or budget counseling. Bring your resume/work history with you to your first appointment. When you finish your appointment, you will have a completed resume, both hard copy and on a flash drive, as well as current available job listings.

As you begin employment, it is always important to have a plan on how you might manage your earnings so that you manage your spending to enhance your credit and solidify your financial security. Our financial counselor is available on Wednesdays from 10 am -1 pm or by appointment. Also bring your paystubs and bills with you to that appointment. When you complete your appointment, you will have a budget plan and methods to manage your earnings successfully.
